Poverty has been in existence since the dawn of man. We know we are simply unable to solve the problem worldwide however with one small action from one individual a whole family can be affected.A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

We want to do our bit to help alleviate poverty and give individuals and families some dignity and basic living conditions that most of us take for granted.
The people we assist have a strong desire to work themselves out of poverty. They don’t want a hand out, all they often need is a small loan, some encouragement and training to get their business idea up and running. Ripple Effect in partnership with Phakamani South Africa  provide a means for this to happen. To successfully fulfil our task we need the help of people like you.  
The best thing about Micro finance is that the money is loaned out, repaid (with a small amount of interest ) and then reloaned again and again. Neither Ripple Effect or Phakamani Foundation receive any personal benefit from this program.

We identify the areas where micro credit and enterprise development services can have the greatest impact. We partner with our clients to give them the chance they need to escape a life of poverty. We partner with other micro Credit institutions and offer support and training assistance so they can continue growing and reach more and more families living in poverty. We partner with our donors and volunteers, utilising our combined resources, time and skills to achieve the best result.
